RIM offering free premium apps as token of apology for outages

18.10.2011 10:19
Remember the outages that RIM had last week? Naturally this did not sit well with many, if not all Blackberry users, and in an effort to pacify their irate users (the ones who did not jump ship, that is), come 19th of November, RIM will be offering $100 worth of free premium apps. This will be offered as a token of the company’s appreciation for sticking with the company during the outages. These premium apps include:

•        SIMS 3 – Electronic Arts

•        Bejeweled – Electronic Arts

•        N.O.V.A. – Gameloft

•        Texas Hold’em Poker 2 – Gameloft

•        Bubble Bash 2 – Gameloft

•        Photo Editor Ultimate – Ice Cold Apps

•        DriveSafe.ly Pro – iSpeech.org

•        iSpeech Translator Pro – iSpeech.org

•        Drive Safe.ly Enterprise – iSpeech.org

•        Nobex Radio™ Premium – Nobex

•        Shazam Encore – Shazam

•        Vlingo Plus: Virtual Assistant – Vlingo

As for enterprise users, RIM will be offering extended technical support, which you can find out more information from RIM’s website.
