Nokia has just announced its financial results for the third quarter of this year (the one which ended in September). Things are, of course, bad, but they’re not quite as bad as expected in some areas.

Nokia World is next week. It is during that event that we’ll finally see Nokia’s first Windows Phones. However, that obviously doesn’t stop people from leaking stuff here and there, and we’re understandably very happy about that.

It’s been a while since we last saw a leak of a Nokia smartphone that isn’t going to run Windows Phone. But today is just one of those days. Apparently Nokia is getting ready to launch at least one new Symbian Belle handset during Nokia World later this month – the Nokia 603.

Nokia’s annual ‘big’ event is slowly approaching. Nokia World, for that’s its name, will be held on October 26 and 27 this year, and Nokia is widely expected to announce its first Windows Phones over there.

It’s not like we didn’t hear this before, but it’s good to see it re-confirmed: in an interview with a Chinese publication, Stephen Elop recently said that Nokia’s first Windows Phone devices “will be in the market in the world in Q4.”

Nokia has announced that its Symbian Belle smartphones would receive a software update that brings “a suite of Microsoft productivity applications” known as Microsoft Apps.
