Samsung CEO Choi Gee Sung has adamantly denied rumors that the South Korean company has any interest in purchasing HP’s WebOS. Speculation started brewing that Samsung would be one of the top contenders for the platform after HP announced that it would be discontinuing WebOS hardware to consider licensing the software instead. There was also the possibility that HP would sell the unit entirely.

Hewlett-Packard’s component suppliers are none too happy right now according to a report from DigiTimes. Following the company’s decision to discontinue all webOS device efforts, which ostensibly kills off the platform itself, HP’s component suppliers in the East are now sitting on a pile of TouchPad parts that had reportedly been on order for the company’s second webOS tablet, the 7-inch HP TouchPad Go.

Speaking in an interview with BusinessWeek, HP senior vice president Stephen DeWitt said that HP will continue to support the platform. "The webOS is not dead. We're going to continue to evolve it, update, and support it. We stand by it," he said.

Apparently, there have been some rumors floating around that a new HP TouchPad packing 4G has hit the FCC. That isn’t the case though accordion to some sources. Buried inside the FCC documents for the new HP tablet that has hit the FCC are some labels that clearly show what hit the FCC is in fact the HP TouchPad Go with a 7-inch screen we have talked about before. Last we spoke about the mysterious 7-inch HP tablet the thing was expected to launch this month.

The HP Pre 3 was announced all the way back in February, yet unlike the HP TouchPad and the HP Veer that were also announced at the same time, HP’s flagship smartphone still isn’t available anywhere. In the UK, we heard that it would launch on July 8, but that obviously hasn’t happened and there were rumors of a delay until the end of this month.

AT&T on Tuesday announced that it will launch the HP TouchPad 4G with a faster 1.5GHz processor (the original launched with a 1.2GHz chip). We recently reviewed a Wi-Fi-only version of the tablet and said we “prefer it almost every other tablet [we've] tested to date,” but did note the TouchPad has a number of drawbacks and, in its current state, is just “good.”

The TouchPad from HP only went live in the last few days. We posted up our review of the TouchPad already and found the hardware lacking, but WebOS was pretty good. I guess HP is already set to refresh that TouchPad hardware, if the leaked roadmap can be believed.

Hewlett-Packard will follow up its TouchPad launch next month with the release of an unannounced 7-inch tablet in August, Taiwan Economic News reported on Friday. Citing information from an Inventec Corp. subcontractor, the Taiwanese manufacturer is said to have received a healthy number of tablet orders from HP.

Basically, with first time pairing, it will help you hook up the mouse to the computer while letting you work with ease and confidence.
